1. What is your favorite DelMoSports event to race and why?
A: My favorite DelMo race is Escape the Cape. Racing in the town you grew up in surrounded by family and friends is absolutely priceless.
2. What is your favorite workout song?
A: Unstoppable by Sia
3. Favorite pre-race ritual?
A: Having chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and a beer.
4. What is your race mantra for 2024?
A: Smile, have fun and enjoy the moment!
5. What is your favorite memory from a DelMoSports event?
A: My favorite memory was on June 10th, 2018. It was the first time I got on the podium and it happened at Escape the Cape. It was a goal of mine and I made it happen. It was also special because it was in my hometown and my family was present to see it too. Especially my dear Dad who never missed a race and now has the best seat in the house as he is now in heaven smiling down.
6. What is your favorite part about training for a race?
A: I enjoy envisioning my goals and making them come true as I put the work in at each training session. I also enjoy staying fit and it’s a great stress reliever too!
7. What is one of your goals for this upcoming season?
A: I haven’t picked a specific goal yet for this season. As I have accomplished some pretty big ones over the last few years. In 2021, I did Ironmann Maryland. In 2022, I did Ironman Panama City Beach Florida and most recently in 2023 Ironman Chattanooga, TN. Each race I improved my time too. I’m giving my 5’1, 125 lb. petite self so much grace right now. I’m also a 3x 70.3 Ironman finisher and all were completed in Atlantic City. So right now I’m tied at 3x 70.3 finishes and 3x 140.6 finishes!
