I'm officially calling out All MEN this month.
Real men sacrifice.
Real men give up debilitating habits.
Real men do the work.
Real men honor their partner/spouse/children/family.
Real men tell the truth, always.
Real men could care less about the finish line and savor the journey.
Real men know what it means to protect.
Real men are meticulous with their dreams.
Real men race, but are not defined by racing.
Real men admit when they are wrong.
Real men don't gloat when they are right.
Real men stand in front and take the beating for the team, their family, an innocent victim.
Real men listen when it's too easy to speak.
Real men are flawed and know it.
Real men forgive.
Real men actually express their love through actions and not items.
Real men command the room just by stepping into a room.
Real men hold the door.
So, men, I call on you to be a better man this month. Yes, Father's Day is lumped in here somewhere, but hopefully, you didn't make it about you - hopefully you made it about the people who bring you joy and help you through this journey called life. Serve those people. Be humble. Make a positive impact on just one person. If you're in a transition area at an event, be the gentleman you would want your daughter, mother, or sister to come into contact with.
Swimming, cycling, running - will help you discover the man you are, not mask the man you are not.
Man up this month. Love, DelMo.
