XTERRA Wetsuits Swim Course

Our swim course is presented by our official Wetsuit sponsor, XTERRA! The swim will take place in the Kelly Pool in West Fairmount Park. Triathletes will enter the water at one end and swim six (6) lengths of the pool in a serpentine fashion [swim up lanes 1/2, down lane 3, up lane 4… and finish in lanes 7/8] There will be ample certified lifeguards on sight. If at any point an athlete feels the need to rest they can simply grab the lane line located on either side. There is NO penalty to do so… this is all about finishing!

So well-organized with so much helpful information in the days leading up to the race, answering every question big and small for all of us beginners. Such an encouraging and empowering environment was created and I felt such camaraderie with all of the women around me and felt so supported throughout. I CANNOT wait to do this race again next year. Thank you for all of the incredible work you put into making this race truly magical and the best first tri experience I could have asked for.

The race today was beyond my expectations! The crowd, the volunteers, the location - everything. As a first time triathlete, I was so nervous signing up for this but I was in the best hands: all i felt was encouragement and love and support from the race director to the staff who helped me learn to rack my bike to the volunteers who gave me water and so many others. DelMoSports is the best- I’ll be back next year!
